Watch Description
I could not open watch by available tools, so I'm not able to identify more. Do not really know what is a Longchamp model, even these watches do not want to include in my collection, but I liked it.
Suppose that an expert may know more about Longchamp, thanks.

Not much is known about the Bulova Longchamp, I don't think we have ever found a ad for one. The earlier version seems to have first appeared in the early to mid 70's and they had mechanical movements, the 80's models switched to the quartz movement.

It seem to be mainly a European model and that may be why we have no ads for them.

The earlier models had a date code on the back, and the later models had what looks like a model number like yours.

From the style of the watch my best guess would be late 70's very early 80's...

There are a few in the known & unknown database and some discussion on these in the forms you may want to check out.

Thanks for the response, I forgot noted that the watch has a mechanical winding.

I could not find any advertisement or flyer, too. History of European production as had not been.

According to the case signature I predict the year of manufactury to 1978.

You might want to contact Bulova themselves, the case or serial number on the back may mean something to them, and it just might be new enough that they may have info on the Longchamp...

Name on the dial says it all a Bulova 'Longchamp". Is there any date stamp on the movement?

That might be a possibility Mark, I checked out their site, currently no watches, but maybe they made some high end straps...

I have seen these come up for sale on the bay, and noticed many listed are from across the pond, that may be why we have no ads for them.

We're on the right path with this, find the connection between Bulova and Longchamp and I believe We've solved another mystery.

We have "Longchamp" as a model name in the db. I suggest we use it for this watch as well.
