Watch Description

A nice '69 Sea King FE. 10K RGP case, stainless back. No scratches on the case, or crystal. Hands and dial are still luminescent Both are in nice shape. I believe this has the original/correct band. Keeps perfect time. Does it have the correct box/case? I think it was a good buy.

Good advert find.

Agree with the Bulova Sea King "FE". Great to see the original band on this one too.

Hmm, looks like you're building quite a Bulova collection Blackbird. This is a fine looking example of a Sea King FE, it's in excellent condition for it's age. I'm not sure on the clam shell display case, seems like this version is more early sixties, I know that by 1970 Bulova was using these two versions. It is possible that you have the original case though.

Agree with Bulova Sea King "FE", with original band; though the display case it is in was used through the late 50s, so I would say not original

I wasn't sure about the display case, I figured it might be too early for the Sea King. Would it be correct for one of my Model 23s?

I sold the first Sea King I had after I picked this one up. As much as  I don't like the original band on this, I think I might leave it on. Its too nice of a watch to mess with it.

We typically see the Bulova 23's in a different case; a couple of examples can be found here. Although I also recall having seen a 23 case similar to the one your Sea King is in, but the inside lid had '23' displayed, instead of 'Waterproof'.
