Looking forward to learning more about Bulova watches and possibly repairing this M7.

Welcome Joel,

Can you post pics of the inside and outside case back? is there anything stamped or printed inside the case back? BTW the winding wheel is referred to as a crown and the rod is a stem.

Not seen this model in the ads, but possibly of the "Engineer" variety.

Welcome buddy, and please repair your watch, it will give as good as it gets!

Unknown.

Yes, I sure can. I guess I need to brush up on the terminology.
I can not wait to get it running again.

Thanks again for the comments, I'm glad there is a website like this.

This was my grandfather's ("Bus' ") watch.

R13159F  is the number scribed in case back inside above the stamped 2597.

The stamped 2597 is the Bulova Case#. I looked this up in my crystal catalogs and found that the GS CMS798-50, 24.1mmx24.1mm crystal fits the Bulova Model #'s 03923 and 03924. I cross-referenced this to a BB CMS2410 crystal but it didn't provide a model name either. Maybe someone can find a model name(s) for the 03923 and 03924.

*EDIT* The earliest crystal reference I found was in an Oct 1966 BB Supplement. The BB crystal first appears in their #40 catalog. The GS crystal is not in their 1965 catalog but is in their catalog #100.

Great! One thing I noticed from looking at the Bulova watches on the website is that almost none have roman numerals on the dials. Why did Bulova mostly go with english numbering?
