Watch Description

I believe I was able to match this watch to this ad for a Sea King "AK" (found here on mybulova.com). I'm almost positive this is the same model, but I'm having trouble finding any other information on the Sea King AK here or other places. And I have not seem a similar face on any other model or watch in any photos I can find. Watch is running great and looks great with just a few minor scratches and wear.

I'd bet it's of the Sea King models but not the AK, your watch has a cold dial and the hour markers don.t match the ad though the case appears to be dead on.

Awesome - thanks everyone! Was the "AK" a limited release model? I'm curious why it was so hard to find any info/ examples other than these ads.

HD - Bulova tells us they lost all of their production records prior to the mids 70's so we have no way of knowing. Bulova was (and still is) in the business of mass producing watches for worldwide distribution, it's unlikey it was limited release. Some models certainly appear more regularly than others. I imagine that they discontinued those that didn't sell, perhaps this was one.

I just picked this identical Sea King AK today at a flea market.
