Wow! That's a keeper! I think the crown is aftermarket, seems to stick out to far. I may have the original signed deal but I need to look.

Maybe one of the numerous Bulova 23 variiants?  Shawkey mentions many variants btwn 1954 thru mid 1960's.  Looks similar to 1962 ad below, but the outer end of lugs below are "angled", while subject watch has less angled lug ends (click on graphic to see full ad):

The Regatta came out about 1963?, and there are over 40 variants of Regatta by 1964.  Could be one of those, as many charactoristics of subject watch also match Regatta.

Maybe unknown if we don't have something to tentatively distinguish btwn Regatta vs Bulova 23? No matching ad that I see.

It really wants to be a dial variant on the "23" doesn't it?

I would say unknown for now.......a nice one too!

Doc's site lists the 10BZAC as being used from 1959-1963. It appears to be an in house calibre, developed by Bulova, and lack of import codes on the examples I've seen lead me to believe it was manufactured in the US at the Bulova factory Stateside.

Doc's site sometimes misses an example on the beginning/ending dates.  I think he updates from movements that he "comes across" as well as documented exapmles from others.  Looks like we change our end date in our movement DB based on this example.  I'll do that now.

EDIT  I'll hold out on updating the end date in mvnt DB, as I don't see a date stamp on movement, just case back.  Maybe Jerin can confirm mvnt date symbol for 1964, or maybe it's a '63 movement.

What date are ya'll using for the movement? I don't see a date code on the movement and Jerin didn't provide one.
