Watch Description

1960 President,10K RGP. Vintage Kreisler Da Vinci strap. Both in pristine condition. I love the way this sits on the wrist, the offset lugs present the watch at an angle to bring the face readily to view . The most iconic of the 4 1960 Presidents IMO. Now  designated "OW". Thanks Lisa, Bruce and william.

Thanks admin for the number of votes display.  This record appears to have four confirmed, and one tentative.   I voted confirmed.  I really like this new feature!  There was/is another higher resolution ad (or two) for "OW" on site -maybe just in a forum post- but I can't find right now....but I do remember the details were more obvious in that "missing ad".  If I find the higher res ad, I'll post here or link from here.  Admin's got his hands full processing all the new ads - which is a good thing!

Weird "tentative". Obvious I.D. What else could it be? It is the only one in the DB with the same hands as any of the ads we have for a start.

Ahh, O.K. I'll bite, and the only one on a metal band, Mark!!!

Bobbee   I believe it's not so much a function of  "...what else could it be"  as "it's almost surly this model and variant".  Almost surly translates to tentative.  With the new display indicating the number of votes/voters, four confirmed and one tentative is, IMO, different than one confirmed and one tentative.  The process is working.  Lots of viewers and lots of panel votes on this watch.   I also believe the five members who voted did so after much thought and contemplation.  IMO no one "guessed".  There is always close scrutiny on variant calls.  As more is revealed, and if we hear from the minority, I may change my confirmed vote based on their arguments/reasoning.  It's a work in process.

...but it would have to be a very convincing argument for me to change my vote :)

O.K. Will, I see. Very good work on the ads BTW, and thanks Admin, for such a great job on the site. You do not get enough thanks for your tireless work, most of which must seem almost subliminal.

...and the band....  The number of "ridges" on your band is ten.  The number of ridges on the Beau ad example Lisa posted is ten.  It would not surprise me at all to find out this watch originally sold with this band. We have no way of knowing, but there must have been some wiggle-room on which bands were used.... period correct and seen on similar watch ads.  I'm assuming it came with that band....but that's just an informed "guess".  That doesn't mean I guessed on the confirmed vote.

As everything stands with current knowledge(mine!) of Bulova, everything is an informed guess!

Thanks for your interest, Will. Informed as always!
