That is a unusal one Wayne,

It has a dial kind of like the Squadron "D"

and a case like a "Beau Brummel

and no Luminous or sweep seconds hand like the Sea King, and looks more like the late 50's "President"

Maybe its not sure what it wanted to be!!

Where did the ad come from?  'SEA KING's were definately Auto's with center seconds.

Bottom right - 'SKY KING' - but with center seconds, Dial looks 'PRESIDENT' as Greg mentioned.

Interesting cut out for the crown on the bezel yet the movement comes out the back...

I think the movement comes out the front when the crystal ring is removed, that is what the slot is for.

Gents

I went by the this 1959 ad matching the case only. Top Right Watch! The case is dated L9.

Sqadbrummel don't sound right! LOL Bottom Right watch in this ad is a Beau Brummel also, but 23 jewels!

Lol!

I was thinking more like Beau Squadident.

This ad shows the same style case, but all have sweep seconds. It also states a non lumed version available, and to the left mentions something about 7 models available with the radium dial and sweep seconds as being a feature, so who know how many models they made?

Does yours say Waterproof anywhere??

Here is a White dialed cat eared example exactly like mine! 1959  Some folks won't deviate from what the ads say. We probably lose a lot of IDs because nobody ever saw one before & it isn't pictured in the ad exactly as the watch appears. This white is on ebay with 8 days left.

I agree Wayne, but the case does not look like a Waterproof style case , no stem tube for a o-ring, movement is removed from the front and that is not too waterproof. Maybe I am wrong, but it should say Waterproof somewhere on the dial or caseback.

After all that is the theme of the Sea King.
