Watch Description

Hi All,

Been a while since we had an American Girl fashion show so I thought it's time to add a few more to the database. Today's offerings are some of the rarer one's. In my 10 years of collecting I've only come across 4 of this variant. It's one of my favs and was available in both white and yellow gold fill. Lorraine has both thouh she prefer's the yellow gold adorned with the white gold trim  holding a small diamond on each side. Enjoy.

That's one nice thick bracelet! Clean dial too. You're right you don't see too many of these at all.

Nice! American Girl for me.....variant not known yet.

Confirmed as the " EE " variant. Watch ad dated 1958. Sold for $100.00 back then.

Not a Canadian Girl, American Girl EE, same page, bottom right corner.

Bare in mind that this advert is from Canada, so it may very well be correct to say both American Girl or Canadian Girl.

We have adverts showing both.

Interesting advert I just found showing both American and Canadian Girls in the same ad. Perhaps there is a difference.

Why can't American Girls be in Canada? I've taken my American Girls (wife and daughter) there HUNDREDS of times. All they need is a passport!

BTW - My Ameican Boy always came too

I love this ad.

Gent's, I won't argue over what to name this Watch Model as it's fairly obvious to Me that North of the Border She was known as the 'CANADIAN GIRL', being the Watch owner is located in Canada My thoughts were the Name fitting.

I would however argue the variant call.

"EE" is shown to be a White Gold piece, "also in Yellow" would change the variant designation.

Well, I guess I need new glasses cause I completely missed that. Anyway, all my girls have been imported from the USA. This ad does stand as evidence that Bulova marketed the AG line as Canadain Girls in Canada. As for the " EE " designation, I doubt that there was a differentiation for the color as many were offered in both white and yellow. It's my thought that the variant was assigned to the model, white or yellow. The N variant shown in this ad is also shown in white in another ad.
