Looks like a Trident to me, but the only ad I can find says 10K RGP and 15 jewels. This one is 14K solid gold and 21 jewels. Is it still a Trident, or does it go by a different name?

Wow, nice piece!

I don't think it is a Trident, still looking.

Can you confirm if the case is stamped L6?

The case has no date stamp. That seems to happen often with the solid gold models. The only date stamp is the L6 on the movement.

Handsome watch, unknown.

Wonderful watch. It does bear a slight resemblance to the mid 50's Trident. I wonder why Bulova didn't advertise these solid gold beauties like they did their RGP and GP models. Maybe we're just looking in the wrong places for the adverts.

We do not have an ad match to this one. As nice as it is, alas, it is Unknown. Thanks for sharing it Joe,

We see very few ad confirmations on the solid gold watches, very nice watch but unkown for now. As Geoff  has said as well, no adverts, perhaps Bulova didn't feel they had to advertise to those that could afford them.

Hopefully an ad will come along to help ID this one, but Unknown for now
