Watch Description

Fancy Case measures 39.5mm lug to lug x 26mm non-inclusive of the Crown using Calipers. Hour and Minute Hands are Gilt Alpha style. Crown is signed Bulova. Snap fit Caseback is Stainless Steel and stamped as shown. vintage display ad is dated 1953. as found.

Certainly looks like the "E" minus the band of course. It's possible that the case shape is the variant.

Ambassador "E"... case cleaned up nice, the dial looks good, all you need is a seconds bit and your ready to go Mark. Nice one!

I'm good with two  ticks for the "E".  Kinda a grainny ad for detail like lugs etc....but close enought for two ticks.

Yep its a better picture, but not a better picture of the "E" variant Fifth uses in root record ad.  Root record ad is from 1953. Ad above is 1955.  
I'm changing my ticks from two (tentative) to three.
