I don't know. The advert lugs seem to have ridges, the lugs on the subject watch do not.....

Appears to be a match. Bulova Helmont.

Are we certain the ad is not a typo and meant to state Belmont? 1951 ad1, ad2. Helmont is not listed in our pricelists, but Belmont is.

May be a bit worn down, but I see some ridges in the lugs, and looks like a match to the Belmont, 1953 example.

I think you may be on to something here, Ken.

Helmont is supported so far by one ad, Belmont by at least 2. Same time frame and they appear identical. "H" and "B" are adjacent on a typewriter keyboard. I think I'm going to side with you on this one and vote it to be a Belmont.
