Hi All--I dont have much information on the Bulova attached. It was my mom's and we found it in a box of old paperwork. Can anyone give me any details?  Thank you very much for your time.

just so you know: My mom would have been 17 when she receievd this watch.  The sale price says $49.50 and I know that her family lived in a home that had a mortgage of $61.41 per month! Her family was VERY poor and worked hard to make the "American Dream". This had to be a birthday present for her (maybe 17 or 18?). I could only imagine her joy when she got it. My mom, who passed a few years ago, never was big on showing off but she had 2 jewelry items she wore that are imbedded in my memory, a ring ( black onyx) that I had her wear to her final resting place and this watch. Wow people, you made this old man cry again... thank you so very much....

That was a pretty special present. $49.50 in 2017 dollars equals $506.39; maybe a graduation present for a job well done? I love heirloom watches, they are priceless and a true family treasure to be passed on from generation to generation.
