this watch came in red velvet case with bulova fifth Avenue in gold lettering on the inside of the lid. the movement is marked 49 and 21 jewels. the dial is clean and I believe original. the case is marked 10k gold filled under this is Bulova on the opposite side the serial number 1292103. on the inside of the case is the words Bulova , fifth ave. new york.. the case is also 10k gold filled. the bracelet is marked with the name Flexon. not sure whether this is original or not . I would value the panel members views about this watch.
Regards to all George
The watch is in very nice condition, and I would say it is one of the President models. I don't see this case style in any ads after 1947, here is a match from 1946. This case was also available in 1941 - It is possible that the watch is a 1941 based on the case serial number (1951 usually is shown with L1), with a 1949 movement swap. The band does not appear to be the original.

Could it be possible to have a case back pic? Ken has a valid argument with the case date.

Bobee, it appears that it was around this 1947 period that this style was perhaps changed from President to His Excellency, as I don't see this style advertised as a Pres after this time nor one for an HE prior. I believe they use the same crystal size also. I think a photo of the caseback will assist us here to figure this one out, unless it was possible in '51 to have a case s/n w/o the L1.
