This ad seconds the N from the top middle and makes no mention of a different color.

Wierd, the other ad clearly states the watch is available in yellow as well??

I would have to go with Excellency N.

is the 'N' variant Yellow?

"HER EXCELLENCY"

Noted that first ad states "available in yellow" but doen't say if it would be the "N".  However I'm not sure I'm seeing the same lugs in the ads and subject watch....time for my glasses.  If I can see that lugs match, then maybe the "N", but not before I head to the earlier Bulova model lists, which may give a little more info....

Numerous prior occasions have shown that the Case Colour affects the model variant, specifically on the "HER EXCELLENCY" Series of the late 1940's.

The 'N' variant is Pink, as shown in the ad.

The subject is Yellow.

This may just take up space, but the January 1955 price list shows soo many Her Excellency, but doesn't help with showing the gold color of the "N".  If I remember correctly, we did see different variant letters for different colors of the same case shape/design in Her Excellency.

The "N" variant is not pink in Jerin's ad, it has a white face.

Nearest to the subject at present is the "N", if we are to have some "consistency".

One more time,

'N'

'also available in Yellow'

"I" also available in White

In White is the "U" variant.

Case Colour affects the variant so the subject can't be the 'N' variant as the 'N' is Pink, in Yellow it is the ?

Not totally disagreeing but the variant may only apply to the case style only.
