Just Picked one up, case dated 1950, 7aa 21j unk date, says Excellency, in script, on the face below Bulova, fully obscured '6', angled crystal..will get pics up when I receive it. Found the case in a 1949 ad, not in 1950 ads.

Signed face, crown, outer case rear, inner case, movement

You'll like it a lot.

Not too dressy and makes a subtle statement. My favorite 'casual wear' piece.

I know this reply is about 12 years after the fact but are you sure about that lug spacing? Mine is 16.1 which would take a 5/8" strap or band.

* 'UU' is shown on a Bracelet, I'm fairly certain at this point Leather would affect the 'variant', if this Watch was ever offered on Leather.

We replaced the mainspring, added some spit and polish, fresh strap, Buckle and service.

I'm not sure if it's noticeable but the Glass is tri-pane and follows the peaks on the bezel.

Sure is sweet....

Mine ended up with a glass 2 pane with a chip in 2 corners and a lost secs hand (yes, I lost it lol)...sigh I hate these hands lol. Shure would be nice to find a complete Bulova hands kit...$5 plus shipping for a sub secs hand is pretty damn steep from casker...

Is the tri-panel crystal the original style? Mine is curved along the long side. I've of the others is bi-panel divided horizontally across the middle. I have to replace mine because it's slightly smaller than the case and won't stay in without adhesive. I'd like to get the right one.
