Case 24x9mm with Speidel stretchy band 6''  Markings: Face: Bulova Case back: 14k gold; Bulova; 9546073; engraved initials & dated 1948 Inside: Bulova 14k gold; New York Movement: Bulova Watch Co.; 17 jewels; USA; 8AE  Materials: Yellow gold case & acrylic crystal. Band is plate with stainless steel back Weight: 30.9 grams w/o movement includes band & 37.5 grams total Condition: Appears to be in decent condition and all original Can anyone tell me what this watch is called?  If it is a Mans or Womans? And any other info you can tell me!  Thanks, Paul

Its a mens Bulova 'Grant' with solid 14K gold case. A very nice watch actually.

Original worth about $85 back in the day.

Do you think that this watch is in decent shape just by looking at it?

Cosmetically it looks in decent shape.  Mechanically, that would depend on when it was last serviced, regardless if it's running now or not.  Even if it runs fine now, if it has not been serviced recently, it is likely to degrade the parts if ran without being serviced.
