Hi TexasLady,  Could you add a photo of the movement?  The 4RA shows it is a 1930 movement in the database.  It would be nice to look it over to see if we can give this gorgeous girl a proper ID.

I don't have an 4RA.  My watch:  Movement: 4AR with an "O" Symbol  =  1944.

I looked on watchophobia and it's listed as a 1942 movement.

Oh gotcha sorry about that, my mind was looking for that numbers and letters and landed on 4RA.  If you can add a photo of it to the comments we can add it to the movement database!  Really love this one, so pretty.

I looked through the ads and didn't find a match.  Also searched the data base for ruby models and didn't find any that looked like this either.  I love the amount of diamonds and rubies they used on some of these beauties.  Maybe part of the cocktail line.  Looks similar to the Iris and Francine ads that are on your other watch post http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1935-unknown-9259.

1944 Bulova Unknown for now.

Another wonderful example of a Bulova cocktail watch. As per the advert below, I still suspect this beauty has a name, which at this time is unknown.

Went looking through a few newspaper achive sites and finaly found an advert match. Unfortunetly still no name, other than to confirm it was part of Bulova's 'cocktail' range of ladies watches.

Nice ad find Stephen. How should we catagorize this one? It would be a shame to put it in unknowns, should we place it in a generic "Cocktail" place or put it with "Diamond" until a name surfaces?

I'm on the fence with the name Cocktail or Diamond. I'm kind of legalistic when it comes to name. I rather think that if it isn't in an advert, it isn't a name. I would be tentative on either.

Maybe 1944 Bulova Cocktail Unknown?

It looks to be from the cocktail line but we know they were individually named so it is still unknown for now.  Just a thought.

Unknown... no catagorizations for them.
