Probably 1940s. The 1942 date stated is just a guess. 14kt pink (or rose if you prefer) gold filled. Snap case, top loader case (movement lifts out through front once case is separated). 31mm diameter. Hidden lugs. Cannot find in the database.
Hi brtime1956, cool watch. The S/N starting with a "3" and the "X" on the movement suggest it's a 1943.
I find this one in the "Unknown" section where it has lived unidentified since 2013.

I have a feeling that all Bulovas had a model name, they seem to have gone out of their way to do this. The early ones sometimes didn't, but would nonetheless sport a number. After a point in the '70's, they seem to have given up on model 'names' and reverted to numbers again.
But in between- there was no shortage of names.
