Watch Description

Hello,  I just got this nice little 19mm x 19mm (approx) square ladies watch.  It has a 14mm band width.  I think it may be the same size as the American Nurse.  The crystal is pretty rough and I plan on replacing it with a NOS American Nurse crystal that I am hoping will fit.  It has a 10K RGP bezel and sterling base (haven't seen that before) and stainless back.  I really love the numbers and hands on this watch.  I am not going to try and clean the dial even though it is spotted.  It is running and keeping time.  I can not find an ad anywhere on this watch and I am hoping someone will have an idea of what it is.  I am going to try and find a tan leather watch band for it but 14mm may be a challenge.  Thanks for any information.  Kathy

Found a strap that I think looks good on it.

Maybe a Military Miss with a light dial like a few had dark and light dials like the Nighthawk?

I'd say it's likely that she is a Military Miss, there were so few womens square watches like this it can really only be one of a couple models. The Canadian Nurse was also square but the case style is different. Without an advert it's impossible to know if there were dial variants but it appears original.

As usual, without and ad I'm tentative - 1943 Bulova Military Miss

Very unique ladies watch for the period. I tend to agree that it is most likely from the Military Miss model line.

I'm also tentative on a 1943 Bulova Military Miss.

Many of the luminous version during that time had different names between the white or black dials; I'm fine with a tentative Military Miss id.

An unusual style women's watch for the era. I like it and will go with the flow. Tentative Military Miss.
