Hmmm...

I apparently don't have the specs. of the '33ish "Gladiator," just yet? However the other Gladiator takes the same glass as the Lone Eagle 3... And of course the first one is the same case as the Lone Eagle 1... Whoever has the '33 Gladiator... please post the approx. proportions, or verify IF the same crystals fit??? (And please also let ME know!?!)

Best :-)  Scott

Shooter,

Yes, I'm with Greg. A lot of the cosmetic issues seem to be in the Glass itself and around the area of the break on the Dial which may clean off. Case looks good, a little scuffed up but no visible wear through and should come back nicely, the Springbar mounts and Lugs look good also.  The Watch winds, sets and runs, how well is yet to be seen.  My Watchmaker will go through and diagnose the Movement.

"Movement is showing a Square and an Asterisk - 1941 being the logical production Date of the Watch."

What is the logical explanation for the 1936 square symbol on the movement? The asterisk symbol looks very lightly stamped vs the very clear square.  Just wondering about the 5 year spread.

I thought I had seen this watch with a 13AF movement... which is larger than the 7AC. I wonder if the case also would be larger to accomodate the movement.

Good Q Jeff, but I'm not sure the 13 AF would be correct for this Watch as it is a 1929 / 30 Movement ?

13AF only listed on site mvnt database as 15 jewels-probably just needs updating w/ and example movement.
