Watch Description

1940 BEACON.Rose gold (filled or plated) case including the back cover.Back marked BULOVA QUALITY and serial #.No markings on the inside of case.Crown is too worn to say if it's original.I bought this one a few weeks ago and just received it today. It was bought as not running but as soon as Itook the movement out of the case it just started up.The reason I got this one was the movement is different than the examples in the database. It's a "10BX" which I don't see listed anywhere.Go figure.Denis

I've got it's younger brother Den, born in 1941 with the same movement DNA.

Your's looks a lot nicer.I don't see anything in the database regarding the 10BX movement or am I missing it?

So am I right in assuming this model came with either the 10AX AND THE 10BX movement ?

Nice watch Denis. I would say it's the Beacon.

Beacon as well.  I like this dial in both the Beacon and the Westchester.
