hello, ladies and gentleman..i am adding my martha washington to the database..i have cleaned and oiled the movement and its running great...i should have paid more attention to the gear train when i was disassembling the watch cause it was a bit of pain reinstall the gear train after the cleaning.so it took a min or 20 putting back in since the bidge was so tiny..it was kinda hard. but it was fun to do a ladies watch (which aren't called ladies watches anymore,just women's) i don't think i will do another anytime soon and the only reason i did this one was because of the great shape it was in...i used the 3m polishing hobby clothes on the case and it came out much better then it was,then i put the case in the ultrasonic...thanks again to everyone who had a comment when i posted this watch int recent comments section...it is a shame these watches don't even get half of what a man's watch goes for...these ladies are just as beautiful and well designed...PS this watch had few service dates ranging from the late fortys to the late fifty's after like 58 there isn't anymore...so at one point this watch was taken care of..some husband probalby took it in when he took in his watches..and had taste in watches because in the lot came a hamilton essex 982 and a gruen 500cal..sorry about the yellowish pictures...i am using a new lamp and bulb i think the shade is needs to be removed or changed...if anyone is interested in this watch PM me i just dont what to see it just sit on my desk..i am not trying to retire on it...
