It would be best if you just send the dial. Removing it is a pretty simple process, as is putting it back on if you know what your doing that is. If you have someone local who's honest enough to charge you $10 bucks or so, that would be the way to go.

The folks at International do a great job. Be sure to mention it's a LE or include a picture of an original LE dial for them to match it with and ask for the original antique white finish with black print. It will be well worth the investment.

I received the refinished dial and thus updated the photos for this watch. Wow, what a difference! Thank you all (and especially bourg01) for your advice and help! :-)

Sweet! I know alot of collectors frown on redials but for folks who want to wear these beauties, refinished is the best way to go.
