Watch Description

It has the arrow but also the sign that looks like a fancy A. I wanted to get an estimate of what this watch may be worth. The band says USA don't know if it is the original. It has 4 "emeralds" and 2 "diamonds" on the front, do not know if they are real . The watch works

It's impossible to get a shot of the inside backing with all the info.

There are 3 numbers at the top starting with H that were carved in. Says Swiss 15 Jewels, there is an arrow between  6apa and rf5 . I think  I have the model number right.  A symbol that looks like a fancy A, lots of numbers inside.

Hi Cindy    Nice Watch

If you can get better pictures, that makes things easier. If you can't, could you enter the stuff written on the inside case back?

The arrow date sign doesn't show up till 1937.  How did you determine 1924?

Hi William, inside it says "Pat. June 10, 1924". I know that is just when it is patented but it's all I had to start with.

Ok the carved numbers, even with a 60x loupe were hard to read so will give as close as I can on those:

H5385-5-56W, H86 (0 5 3 , not sure which is that next number) 7-1265, H399-656 A or H.

Other numbers on the watch are : 6APA (arrow) RF5 The arrow is between those pointing up, I think.

MM53 is under the patent date. 0040296 is after "AAA" (which is under Bulova Quality).

It also says Adjusted and I think the letters are AFZUR (close , very hard to make out)

Swiss is over the 15 Jewels and the number 72263 (the adjusted, 15 jewels , arrow etc., and adjusted are on the inside where the gears are. The rest is on the inside casing.

Thanks for getting back to me.  Not sure if I want to sell it or keep it yet, it's lovely!

1930 works with the case serial number.

There's a 6AP movement in the database, but not a 6APA.

@ Timerestoration, yes all but the band. It has a USA (written all around inside) on a silvertone stainless steel band, so band is probably not original or?? And thanks for finding it. Nice to know those diamonds are real!
