Watch Description

Can you pin down the model ID on this ladies Bulova for me? I think it may be a "Suszana" or something like that. I found a blurry ad that looked close to it but I couldn't read the name very well.

This is the ad I found, but after looking at it closer, it doesn't have the wire lugs. So it's not much help.

Ramona, nice one too.

We have 1928 ads, and a couple of examples in the watch db.

Thanks Bobbee. I looked at those examples and they might not be Ramona's. The dials are different from the one I have. They look more like the Ramola.

The Ramola has different engraving pattern, sort of "dashes".

Corinthia or Lenore, both have the same case shape and design as subject watch. Both dated 1930 I believe, although the Corinthia advert is not actually dated and year came from the seller.

Ramola is the same watch as the Corinthia (design wise) but the advert is dated 1926.

I would say that case is more matches to Corinthia, the upper part of case is slightly rounded

I agree that it looks closer to the Corinthia

Yes, good find. Corinthia

I just held it up to the computer screen side by side with each model you guys mention and it looks identical to the Lenore ad to me with the exception of the jewel crown. But it may have a replacement crown. Who knows? The top of the case seems to have a thinner border around the crystal on the Corinthia than the one I have. Thank you to all of you for your work and time on this one.

Looking at the ads again, the Lenore seems a better match as the wire lugs seem to extend out and around more than the Corinthia same as the subject watch.

Tentative 1929 Bulova Lenore for me.
