Watch Description

This is a fantastic example of the late 1920's enamel accented ladies watches that Bulova was coming out with.

The movement symbol of the "square" indicates a 1927 movement but as with many of our old Bulova's I believe the movement was a holdover from the previous year and this watch is a perfect match for the 1928 Miss America shown in the two ad's below from 1928.

  and

Ladies and Gents this is one I've been coveting for quite awhile and I think it sort of snuck under the radar a little this morning on an little  sleepy summer auction!  Got it for just a smidge over a c-note and I love it!

I have one more ladies watch I want to complete my enamel collection.  The 1928 Croydon... if anyone sees one of those resonable.... gimme a pm.

Oh and these are obviously stock auction pics... mine will be better.. though I broke my good camera and my quality may not be as good as in the past... we'll see.

Yeah it's supposed to run... so that's nice.  A cleaning and a new crystal and this thing will almost look minty really.  A little age coloring on the dial but very sweet looking anyway.   This one will be sticking with the wifes collection. (shhh.. my collection really but we say that to not seem girlie)

I just recieved a 1928 crescent moon Miss America.  This one has luminous face and hands.  I will get a couple of pics up in the next couple of days.  Not running and needs the mainspring replaced but still a stunner as well.  This also has a period correct link bracelet.

My wife was waiting, jumping up and down clapping her hands for me to open the package.  I am very sure that this one is hers even though I found it :P

Ah... I've seen two others go in the last couple days... you must have gotten one of them!  Congrats!  They really are very sweet looking in person!
