Watch Description

My Christmas present to myself. This beauty has just returned from a visit to Dr. Cosineau (Timemachines) where it received ' the works' treatment. Triangle date stamp with arrow indicates a 1927 Lone Eagle.  I believe that both movement and case serial numbers fall within the 5000 range for the first issue. The new crown jewel of my collection! Nary a mark on the pristine case, new hand cut crystal and a wonderful new period strap and buckle.

Edit 12/20/2015: Note that the correct style hands have been installed. Also note that dial distortion is result of new hand cut crystal.

Sweet one Geoff. Just a minor flaw and that is that the hands don't appear to have been re-lumed as the dial. Still looks awesome, the Doc did a great job.

In all fairness to Mike, that's 100% on me Shawn. As I've never employed the service of either you or Rev I can unequivocally state that he's #1 with me. I had him switch out the hands after the dial had been done. I knew they wouldn't match but had I not taken that photo the world would never have known......but I love those 'glowing' watch photos.

Very nice Mr. Baker. Do you have a before picture? It's interesting to see the before and after pictures to judge the improvements.
