Jim,

Gilt or Blue?

I have quite a number of the PI2 second hands for the 7AK (which should most second shafts).

The plum finish is actually darker than blued, at least to me.

The Hour and Minute Hands for the the 8AE thru 8AZ are interchangeable with the 7AK.

The Seconds Hand is not - it's interchange is the 8AE.

Hope this helps.

Jim,

The 1949 'SQUADRON' should have an 8 linge Movement, according to My interchange chart You can use any 8 linge Seconds Hand as they are interchangeable amongst each other.

8 AC

8 AE

8 AH

8 AL

8 AM

8 AZ

Part # 65

my eagle eyes tell me its 1945 if i see the triangle on the movement, looks like it could be double stamoped with a square also giving 1946. It is a leuitenant model i believe.
