Well since we're looking. Check some of these out. Pretty neat.

I did find one of those, the console model. A small article in Antique Radio Classified several years ago showed the tombstone model. I need to find a 4" swinging cover for the clock on mine. I stripped the cabinet a few days ago, but need to repair the grille before refinishing it.

Thanks! I found it right here in Mission Viejo, and drove to the seller's house immediately upon learning it was available.
With it apart, I had a better view of the label on the chassis, and see that the radio was made by U. A. C. C., which is United Air Filter Company, which marketed radios under the Sentinel brand. I've also got an older Sentinel 104 console which is an Art Deco design.
Besides repairing the grille, I need to repair the legs (the bottoms are supposed to be round, but most of the pieces around the square center fell off before I bought it). There are also chips out of the top at the edges which need to be repaired.
I'll post more information as it progresses.
By the way, why didn't pasting the IMG links, as I do on various other forums, work here?
