NEED HELP Finding Replacement Hands for 1968 Bulova

Submitted by Aprules2 on May 18, 2015 - 1:15am

A while back I bought a beautiful 1968 Bulova  It got wet once and the hands started to rust, but thankfully that was the only damage. I took it to a local jeweler my family uses hoping he could replate the hands. He said he couldnt do it, but he found some "nice hands" that look very much like the original ones. Well I got it back, my originals were thrown I have what looks like 3 second hands now its pretty ugly, and almost ruins the watch. Plus the watch maker he farmed it out to threw out the old hands!! Does anyone know a good place to get a set of hands that look similar to the originals? The movement is an 11ALC.

Here are some pictures of the watch before he changed the hands. These are what I am looking for.

What a great Bulova watch. Please consider adding it to the database through the "Add a Watch" interface.

I would but when I asked in the past no one could figure out what it is?

Thank you, hopefully JP finds the hands in his collection, so it can be beautiful again.
