Ladies Bulova 10k rolled gold Bulova plate watch with matching watch band

I found this watch in my jewelry box and I think it belonged to my grandmother. It has a round face, with raised numbers, and is the old fashion wind up type. From what I can see on the back of the watch, there is what looks like A9 below the name, and directly below at the bottom is 673347. I am not sure if that is the model number or what it is. If some one can help me by telling me what year it was made and what kind of watch it is, I would be greatful.

Whilst A9 is the modern date code for 2009, it can also mean 1949. I'd say that by your description it's 1949. Other than that not much more can be told without seeing a photograph. If you can post one here or add it to the site someone may be able to help identify the model.

Tony, I see you have posted the watch. N6 equates to 1976 and its best to identify the watch as an 'unknown' for now rather than guess or pick a name at random.

Hopefully someone here can help you identify it for you.

I'd say that the band in not original.
